Job Title: ELV Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

- System Design: Define and implement systems design (Preliminary and Detailed Design) in compliance with established system architecture, project specifications, drawings, security policies, company standards, and best practices. Author and maintain all related design documentation.
- Solution Selection: Understand system specifications and select compliant solutions accordingly. Prepare compliance and comparison matrix and reports as needed.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documentation such as System Specifications, Material Approval Sheets, Schematics, Architectural Drawing Concepts, System Manuals, ELV systems calculation and studies (e.g., Storage Calculation, Coverage Studies), Testing Procedures, and Training Manuals.
- Procurement Support: Prepare Bills of Materials for the procurement of selected solutions and support the procurement department as required.
- System Proposals: Develop new system solutions within proposals according to specifications and cost constraints. Prepare proposal documentation including technical descriptions and cost estimations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 6+ years in the Design, Implementation, Site Supervision, and Commissioning of ELV Systems, such as Physical Security Systems, Safety Systems, and Control Automation Systems.
- Knowledge:
- Main Devices, Topologies, Architectures, Signals Transmission Technologies, and main Vendors of ELV Systems, such as CCTV, ACS, (P)IDS, PAGA, UVSS/ANPR, F&G, Gate Management, Thermal Imaging, and Integrated Security Management Platforms.
- Power, Structure Cabling, Installation Concepts, Data Communications, and Networking as related to ELV Systems.
- Certifications: ELV and IT system certifications from recognized vendors are preferred. Knowledge of PLC and Power Distribution Systems is a plus.
- Platform Experience: Experience in design and configuration of one or more platforms (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, Tyco, CEM, Synectics, Siemens, Honeywell).
- Skills:
- System requirement analysis and design experience.
- Proficiency with design tools, development tools, and technologies.
- Knowledge of application, database, query language, operating systems, virtualization platforms, client/server architectures, server hardware, and network topologies.
- Proficient PC skills, including Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Project and Presentation Software, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
