Job Description: Room Attendant

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Tidy and clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily, following hotel standards, procedures, safety, and hygiene rules.
2. Keep all equipment clean, tidy, and well-maintained according to the Housekeeping Operations Manual.
3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the hotel layout, public areas, restrooms, and surroundings.
4. Understand different cleaning products and their proper use.
5. Report any damaged or missing items in rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor for action and follow-up.
6. Keep keys signed out secure and return them at the end of the shift to the Housekeeping Office.
7. Hand over all Lost and Found items with detailed information to the Supervisor/Asst. Manager Housekeeping.
8. Attend to guests' requests courteously and promptly.
9. Ensure all guests enjoy their stay with the finest personal service.
10. Escort guests instead of pointing out directions.
11. Respect guests' privacy (e.g., by respecting "Do not disturb" signs) and confidentiality of information.
12. Consider guests' behavior patterns and inform Supervisor/Asst Manager Housekeeping.
13. Report any guest comments or complaints.
14. Ensure guest documentation in rooms is complete and up-to-date.
15. Attend daily line-up briefings with the Housekeeping team.
16. Sort and count dirty linen items before sending to laundry.
17. Sort waste and handle hotel equipment, complimentary welcome gifts, and room linen with care.
18. Clean and restock the trolley daily, keeping it and the storeroom impeccably tidy.
19. Keep corridors clean and free of obstacles.
20. Apply the hotel's security regulations.
21. Contribute to the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" by saving energy, recycling, and sorting waste.
22. Be flexible and adapt to rotating within different subsections of the Housekeeping Department.
23. Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor and the Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications:

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related role is a plus.

Skills:
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to follow safety, hygiene, and security regulations.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to different tasks.

- Integrity and respect for guest privacy and confidentiality.
