Job Description: HR Payroll Officer
Key Responsibilities:
1. Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, overtime, and bonuses accurately and on time.
2. Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data.
3. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly.
4. Assist in maintaining HR records, including personnel files and documentation.
5. Maintain and update employee payroll and HR records, including personal information, deductions, and benefits.
6. Process new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
7. Generate and maintain electronic pay statements.
8. Assist in HR reporting, including turnover, headcount, and other relevant metrics.
9. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR-related matters.
10. Assist employees with payroll and HR-related documentation and forms.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR Payroll Officer or a similar combined HR and payroll role.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, HR regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in using payroll and HR software.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.
