Job Description: Maintenance Coordinator (Expert)

Main Job Purpose:

The Maintenance Coordinator (Expert) leads a team responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of equipment and facilities. The role involves evaluating systems, developing maintenance procedures, collaborating with managerial staff, communicating with service providers, overseeing inventory management, and ensuring quality control standards are consistently met.

Accountabilities:

- Evaluate systems or facilities through routine checks to determine maintenance or repairs needed.
- Develop maintenance procedures and schedules based on global standards to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with managerial staff to create and execute the organization’s annual maintenance plan.
- Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other necessary projects.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring maintenance technicians and HVAC professionals, scheduling and managing work orders.
- Assist with developing a comprehensive maintenance budget and handle payments for maintenance services and necessary equipment and supplies.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure the availability of spare parts for smooth and fast repairs.
- Monitor day-to-day Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive activities of maintenance providers, ensuring completion and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor tool and equipment usage, ensuring availability for assigned tasks and avoiding delays in maintenance requests.
- Monitor Personal Protective Equipment and resource usage, recommending replacements for safety.
- Ensure maintenance and repair works are completed correctly and in a timely manner, following quality standards.
- Monitor safety and health compliance by surveying the building to identify and address hazards.
- Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects by reviewing previous year cost analysis.

Employee duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities; they may perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:
- Diploma in MEP Maintenance

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience

Computer Skills:
- MS Office Suite
- Outlook email
- Oracle System

Languages:
- English
- Arabic is a plus

Certificates:
- OSHA
