Job Description: Wood Division Manager

Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Wood Division Manager to lead our wood products sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the division staff, developing key growth strategies, and ensuring the achievement of annual sales targets. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve departmental sales targets and expand the customer base.

- Implement key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans for the wood division.

2. Sales Leadership:

- Lead the wood division sales team to increase sales revenue and meet assigned targets.

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

3. Client Development:

- Develop the client base through prospecting, qualifying, and approaching target customers in the market.

- Create tailored sales presentations for each target customer segment.

4. Design Quality Assurance:

- Check and develop the quality of designs, ensuring they match the company’s design standards.

- Oversee the sales designers to ensure proper follow-up with customers.

5. Team Supervision:

- Supervise the performance, attitude, and professionalism of the sales designers and back-office staff.

- Monitor monthly/annual target achievements for the wood division.

6. Product Knowledge:

- Provide product knowledge training to the sales staff.

- Coordinate with the design department to organize the department display according to company design standards.

7. Sales Assistance:

- Assist sales staff in preparing technical and financial proposals, negotiating, and closing deals.

- Create awareness of the company’s other services and products to increase cross-selling opportunities.

8. System Utilization:

- Properly feed and utilize the ERP system and design tools in a timely fashion.

- Ensure effective use of 3D design software and AutoCAD.

9. Communication and Innovation:

- Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with staff and customers.

- Provide inputs for the development of new products, modification of existing products, and termination of ineffective products.
