Job Opportunity: Customer Service Representative - Banking

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The role involves conducting financial transactions for customers, ensuring compliance with the bank's rules and service principles. The representative will also contribute to achieving sales referral targets to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Match cash balances on a daily basis and manage the cash sub-vault.
2. Receive and process cash deposits, withdrawals, and foreign deposits, including small change (coins).
3. Support customers with cheque withdrawals, process ECC, and related transactions.
4. Educate customers on online banking and ATM capabilities.
5. Receive Post-Dated Cheques (PDC) from customers.
6. Assist customers in purchasing and/or selling foreign currency against cash.
7. Liquidate banker cheques and issue banker cheques as needed.
8. Examine and manage customer service fee deduction requests.
9. Participate in daily report preparation to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
10. Manage the secondary vault and handle cash transfers between the main vault and secondary vault.
11. Conduct daily sales calls according to targets, focusing on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing customers.
12. Handle BTA responsibility for quick cash in the short absence of BTA.
13. Direct and educate customers on using E-channel services as a preferred option.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in finance or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a banking environment.
- Knowledge of banking transactions, cash handling, and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to educate customers on various banking services.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
