Position Title: Security Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company premises and personnel. Your duties include:

- Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, service providers, and customers, granting access with correct identification and authorization, and maintaining visitor records.
- Preventing unauthorized access to company premises and alerting Security Supervisor or Police when necessary.
- Facilitating the smooth movement of vehicles within the premises and controlling the parking area.
- Conducting regular patrols within the premises to ensure security.
- Monitoring CCTV cameras to detect abnormal situations and taking appropriate action.
- Responding to emergencies such as accidents, fires, or natural disasters by alerting government authorities/services and guiding employees to safe exits.
- Preparing and submitting reports of thefts, accidents, trespassing, etc. for review and action.
- Monitoring and controlling walk-in customers and visitors, recording their arrival in the logbook.
- Ensuring the premises' roads are safe, clean, and clear.
- Controlling the movement of products and scrap material by ensuring appropriate paperwork is in place.
- Conducting random checks on scrap collectors and ensuring contractors only take authorized items.
- Controlling access on Fridays or after working hours as per given details.
- Keeping records of delivery notes, invoice copies, and weighbridge slips for trucks coming to the premises.
- Immediately checking fire alarm panels in case of system activation and informing supervisors and authorities accordingly.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- School certification with a minimum of 2 years of relevant security service experience in the security service industry or manufacturing environment.
- Physically fit and active, with comprehensive knowledge of security operations and standard policies & procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant UAE statutory and regulatory laws.
- Ability to maintain professional composure while dealing with unusual situations.
- Knowledge of response procedures in emergency situations such as accidents, fires, or natural calamities.
- Acceptable English communication skills, including the ability to write routine correspondence, logs, and reports.
