Job Title: Tax Accountant

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
2. Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings, and provide recommendations to clients accordingly.
3. Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial efficiency.
4. Analyze financial data and documents to identify potential tax issues and opportunities for tax savings.
5. Respond to tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities, and represent clients in tax audits when necessary.
6. Provide tax advice and guidance to clients on various tax matters, including but not limited to income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and international tax issues.
7. Collaborate with other members of the tax team and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of tax services to clients.
8. Maintain accurate tax records and documentation, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
9. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and excellent service delivery.
10. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in tax accounting, and participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
- [X] years of experience in tax accounting or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProConnect Tax Online, UltraTax, Lacerte) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
