Job Description
Job Opportunity: Digital Adoption & Support Specialist
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Digital Adoption & Support Specialist, you will:
- Deploy digital adoption and support policies, procedures, and standards.
- Report to the Digital Adoption & Support Site Lead or Country Head.
- Drive the Digital Transformation agenda and implement the new digital support organization.
- Roll out specific Digital EF policies, standards, methods, tools, manuals, and guidelines.
- Contribute to the deployment of ISO certifications, including Information Security and Business Continuity Management.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Adoption & Support department's budget and monitor financial performance.
- Participate in internal and external audits and implement observations in the respective site.
- Prepare technical reports on the performance of the Digital Adoption & Support department.
- Collaborate with Adoption and Support teams for new projects to ensure adequate digital infrastructure and systems.
- Implement and support ACWA Power IT SOP and Cybersecurity framework across ACWA Power systems.
- Deploy architectures, platforms, apps, and ensure compliance with country legislation.
- Maintain and monitor the network and data center for proper functioning and timely upgrades/repairs.
- Manage end-users' systems, software, applications, licenses, and internet connections.
- Coordinate with vendors for renewals, upgrades, support, and maintenance agreements.
- Create and maintain the local Digital systems inventory database.
Adoption:

- Provide first-line support on Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Apps, Telecommunication, and collaboration solutions.
- Support the digital operations team to maintain core Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Apps, Telecommunication, and collaboration solutions.
- Provide technical support during the installation, configuration, and roll-out phase.
- Provide computer help desk support in resolving PC, printer, and network problems.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends.
- Strong technical background in IT systems and support.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity.
- Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with end-users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Flexible and open to change.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel when necessary.
