Job Opportunity: Vendor Management Specialist

Job Description:

Are you an experienced professional with expertise in vendor management and procurement? We have an exciting opportunity for a Vendor Management Specialist to join our team at ACWA Power. As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the vendor prequalification process, ensuring compliance with established procedures and enhancing vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Guardian: Act as the guardian for vendor-related data across all types of procurement activities within ACWA Power.
- Vendor Qualification: Determine qualification criteria for vendors in coordination with the Procurement Manager.
- Documentation Review: Coordinate with vendors and procurement officers to obtain necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with procedures and category-specific requirements.
- Prequalification Process: Oversee the prequalification process for vendors, conduct site surveys, assess capabilities, and make recommendations for approvals.
- Compliance Management: Manage compliance for flagged vendors and related-party vendors, following the approved procedures.
- Vendor Performance: Monitor and measure vendor performance, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Vendor Requalification: Based on performance evaluation and feedback, conduct requalification processes for vendors, endorsing good vendors and phasing out non-performing ones.
- Functional Audits: Coordinate functional audits covering prequalification and registration procedures, implementing remedial actions as needed.
- Data Integrity: Ensure vendor master data integrity, rectify discrepancies, and develop/enhance registration and prequalification procedures.

Key Skills:

- Experience in Jaggaer (Tejari) Vendor Portal system (preferable).
- Proficiency in SAP and Oracle ERP systems.
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Customer service, time management, and coordination skills.
