Job Title: Accountant

Purpose of the Job:
The Accountant is responsible for managing all accounting tasks related to intercompany accounts for Aramex stations. This role involves handling intercompany transactions, ensuring timely reconciliation of balances, and maintaining effective communication with assigned stations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Intercompany Accounts Management:
- Perform monthly intercompany accounts reconciliation and balance confirmation for all Aramex stations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Aramex stations, managing intercompany transactions and ensuring smooth operations.

- Invoice Handling:
- Receive and verify invoices from stations.
- Record invoices accurately in the company financial system.
- Issue debit and credit notes as needed.
- Transfer invoices to the company financial system daily and send them to the concerned stations.

- Reconciliation and Follow-Up:
- Perform monthly reconciliation of station accounts.
- Confirm intercompany balances with stations and ensure timely settlement.
- Continuously follow up with stations to resolve pending cases and close them before the deadline.

- Reporting and Coordination:
- Coordinate with the accounting manager and team leader to ensure the smooth settlement of balances.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and confirmed.

Experience and Education:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

- Experience:
- Relevant experience in accounting, particularly with intercompany transactions and reconciliation.

- Skills:
- Good communication skills with an excellent command of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong team spirit and ability to work collaboratively.
