Job Description

Position: Global PMO Specialist

Purpose of the Job:
The Global PMO Specialist provides strategic oversight and governance for multiple projects across the network, ensuring consistent execution through the application of PMO standards and methodologies. This role focuses on effective planning, risk management, issue resolution, and progress tracking, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering comprehensive reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Description:

- Project Oversight:
- Initiate, plan, and govern multiple projects across the network throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Apply PMP standards and methodologies to ensure consistent project execution.

- Documentation and Management:
- Document and manage project documentation including initiation documents, project plans, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Manage project dependencies and ensure proper tracking of progress and budget spending.

- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Manage internal stakeholder engagement and maintain strong working relationships with project managers.
- Provide periodic reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.

- Change and Risk Management:
- Facilitate change control processes and manage project risks, issues, and concerns.
- Document and resolve issues and risks to ensure smooth project execution.

- Alignment and Reporting:
- Ensure project deliverables and benefit realization align with organizational goals.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders to track project progress.

Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field.

- Experience:
- Proven experience in project management, including managing multiple projects and stakeholder engagement.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.

- Skills:
- Proficient in documentation and content writing.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and motivate team members.
- Strong management and leadership capabilities.
- Financial acumen and ability to track project budgets and expenditures.
