Job Title: Senior Registered Nurse
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Senior Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Department (OPD), you will be entrusted with delivering exceptional patient care within a clinic setting. Your primary responsibilities include assessing patient health needs, formulating and executing nursing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Furthermore, you will supervise junior nursing staff, contribute to training programs, and engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, maintains current RN licensure, and boasts a minimum of 5 years' clinical experience, with a significant portion in an outpatient setting. Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills are imperative for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Outpatient Department (OPD).
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff within the OPD.
- Develop and execute comprehensive care plans tailored to patients visiting the OPD.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and offer support during medical procedures when required.
- Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and best practices within the OPD.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver superior patient care.
- Mentor and supervise junior nursing staff members in the OPD.
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, proposing strategies for continual enhancement.
- Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation for OPD patients.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of pertinent nursing experience, with at least 2 years specifically in an outpatient department (OPD) setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, coupled with a talent for collaborative teamwork.
