Job Description: First Officer

Important Information:
This job opening is for a Limited Term Contract initially valid for a minimum of one year, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement and operational requirements within the Air Arabia group of companies. The location of employment may vary within the Air Arabia group.

Job Purpose:
To monitor and ensure the progress of assigned flights in compliance with Air Arabia Operational Manual and GCAA/CAA regulations. Assist the Captain in achieving safety, security, and efficiency during flights, record essential data, support the flight/cabin crew, and apply emergency procedures when required.

Key Result Responsibilities:
1. Flight Management:
- Perform as the 'Pilot Flying' or 'Pilot Monitoring,' assisting the Captain in managing flight deck work, ensuring cooperation, task distribution, and systematic information exchange.

2. Flight Operations:
- Fly Air Arabia aircraft between destinations prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort as instructed by the Captain.

3. Compliance and Coordination:
- Conduct flights in accordance with Air Arabia Operations Manual and regulations, coordinating with the Captain and Dispatch Team for flight preparations.

4. Documentation and Checks:
- Carry out necessary checks, records, and documentation tasks for flights, including take-off data, fuel requirements, and ATS flight plans.

5. Fueling Supervision:
- At stations without qualified personnel, check fuel type and supervise aircraft fueling, ensuring proper distribution.

6. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on legal requirements of regulatory bodies, such as Civil Aviation, GCAA/CAA, and assist the Captain in completing necessary records and reports.

Qualifications:
- Minimum frozen ATPL is a must.
- Valid A320 Type Rating and Class 1 medical.
- Last flight on A320 should not be later than 1 year.
- Pass technical/psychometric assessment and Medical Fitness check-up per Air Arabia/GCAA/CAA standards.
- Training in safety, emergency response, and knowledge of security procedures is essential.
- IATA principles & standards relating to security is an advantage.
- Proficient in using Aircraft systems, Microsoft Office, Internet, and Web Search.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Experience:
- Minimum 1500 hours of flying on Airbus 320.
- Experience with a low-cost airline is highly desirable.
- Industry knowledge in aircraft systems and operating procedures.
- Exposure to QA/Safety/Security/Audit procedures affecting Flight Operations.
- Capable of handling emergencies and threats efficiently.
- Skills in analyzing data, identifying irregularities, and recommending solutions.
