Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in catering management within the UAE hospital sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multiple hospital accounts, demonstrating expertise in financial management, operational efficiency, and compliance with hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Hospital Account Management: Oversee the management of 8 to 9 hospital accounts, ensuring that all services meet or exceed client expectations.
- Financial Management: Thorough understanding and management of P&L statements, budgets, cost control, and financial reports, including flash reports and MIS reviews.
- Cost Control & Reporting: Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining service quality, and provide detailed analysis through various financial and operational reports.
- Environmental Services (EVS): Expertise in managing hospital housekeeping services in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Retail Business Management: Experience in managing retail operations within hospitals, including familiarity with SEHHI requirements.
- Central Production Unit (CPU): Oversee the operations of a CPU kitchen, ensuring compliance with all relevant processes and standards.
- Menu Planning & Engineering: Knowledgeable in menu planning and engineering, ensuring that dietary requirements, including IDDSI standards, are met across hospital facilities.
- Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ): Ensure that all operations comply with hospital HSEQ standards.
- Dietary Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of different hospital diets, particularly the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI).
- Market & Procurement: Strong knowledge of local markets and procurement practices, ensuring efficient supply chain management.
- Business Development: Conduct site visits for potential new contracts and manage the mobilization and demobilization of contracts.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience: Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in hospital catering within the UAE.
- Skills: Strong understanding of financial management, P&L, cost control, and hospital operations, including EVS and HSEQ standards.
- Knowledge: Proficient in menu planning, hospital dietary requirements, and managing both central production units and retail operations within hospitals.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple hospital accounts, lead teams, and drive operational excellence.
