Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in the construction or maintenance field within the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, project quoting, and contract management. This role involves working closely with clients, managing costs, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consultation and Feasibility:
- Consult with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives.
- Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate proposed projects.

- Cost Estimation and Quoting:
- Calculate quantities and costs for materials, labor, and timeframes for both new and maintenance projects.
- Prepare detailed tender packages and contracts, including bills of quantities.

- Contract and Risk Management:
- Manage risk and value engineering to control project costs effectively.
- Negotiate contracts and project schedules with clients and subcontractors.

- Project Monitoring and Reporting:
- Oversee and assess subcontractors' work to ensure it meets contractual requirements and quality standards.
- Analyze repair and maintenance costs and provide budget and progress reports.

- Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Continually assess and advise on value for the client’s investment.

- Dispute Resolution:
- Provide advice on claims, disputes, and any contractual issues that may arise.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Well-experienced in quoting for new and maintenance projects within the UAE construction/maintenance field.
- Strong background in cost estimation, contract management, and project oversight.

- Nationality:
- East European nationals, Africans, Thai, Burmese, or other nationalities (except Indian, Filipino, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Pakistani).

- Skills:
- Proven ability to conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing subcontractor work.
- Knowledgeable in compliance with regulations and quality standards.
