Design Engineer - Electrical

Qualifications:
- Engineering diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in consultancy background, preferably in the field of Oil and Gas engineering

Experience:
- Extensive experience in detailed design of oil and gas facilities and electrical substations
- Proficient in 2D drafting software (AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation)
- Proficient in 3D software (PDMS, E3D, Revit)
- Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks or similar software for review

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings during all design phases, including FEED and Detail design stages
- Produce 3D models of all electrical works of the plant
- Ensure designs are coordinated with other disciplines' requirements
- Understand non-standard vendor documentation and its interface points with company engineering documents
- Implement and ensure compliance with the company's quality management system in projects
- Liaise with other disciplines to coordinate designs
- Prepare and check critical engineering deliverables like SLDs, Metering and protection drawings, equipment layout, cable trench and cable routing layout, earthing layout, lightning protection, lighting layouts, and Material calculations (MTO)

Candidate Specification:
- Engineering diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in consultancy background, preferably in the field of Oil and Gas engineering
- Extensive experience in detail design of oil and gas facilities and electrical substations
- Proficient in 2D drafting software like AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation (experience in Revit is an added advantage)
- Proficient in 3D software like PDMS, E3D (experience in Revit is an added advantage)
- Proficient in using Autodesk Navisworks or similar software for review
