Job Title: Plumbing Chargehand

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Plumbing Chargehand, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of plumbers to ensure the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems on construction sites. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades, conduct inspections, enforce safety protocols, resolve plumbing issues, and maintain accurate project records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of plumbers in daily tasks and projects, providing guidance and support as needed.

2. Task Execution: Ensure efficient execution of plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

3. Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades for seamless project integration and coordination.

4. Inspections: Conduct inspections to guarantee the quality and compliance of plumbing work, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.

5. Safety Enforcement: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

6. Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve plumbing issues promptly, applying exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

7. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of project details, including work progress, materials used, and any relevant documentation.

8. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Proven experience as a Plumbing Chargehand or in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of working experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, components, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in plumbing work.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Plumbing license/certification preferred.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to AED 3,000
