Job Description

Job Title: Key Account Sales Manager

We are looking for a skilled Key Account Sales Manager to join our team. This role involves achieving sales and distribution targets, managing trade spend budgets, overseeing key account management, and ensuring optimal stock management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in key account management, excellent team management skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Sales and Distribution Target Achievement:
- Achieve and exceed sales and distribution targets for assigned key accounts.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive sales growth.

- Budget and Audit Management:
- Manage sales planning cycles and develop route-to-market (RTM) strategies.
- Oversee trade spend budgets and ensure optimal return on investment (ROI).

- Key Account Management:
- Manage key accounts and negotiate Business Development Agreements (BDAs) for assigned customers.
- Conduct regular sales reviews with customers, partners, and team members.

- Stock Management:
- Monitor stock levels, manage forecasts, and maintain expert product knowledge.
- Oversee customer operations to ensure efficient stock management and fulfillment.

- Receivables Management:
- Manage receivables and perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.

- Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct regular reviews of market activities, competitor actions, category trends, and industry shifts.
- Identify and develop new or alternate customer channels.

- Team Management and Development:
- Lead and manage the sales team, including identifying training needs and fostering professional development.
- Contribute to improving unit profitability by enhancing team efficiency and productivity.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education:
- Any graduation.

- Skills and Experience:
- Advanced MS Office skills and experience with ERP/reporting tools.
- Minimum of 5 years of key account experience in the GCC, preferably UAE.
- Proven ability to manage key accounts, negotiate effectively, and oversee budget and stock management.

- Personal Attributes:
- Strong team management and people development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans and achieve targets.
