Job Title: HVAC Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, particularly in chillers, air handling units (AHU), fan coil units (FCU), fans, pumps, direct expansion (DX) units, and HVAC control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operation & Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain HVAC equipment including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, fans, pumps, DX units, and HVAC panels.
- Monitor and ensure the efficient functioning of all HVAC systems.

2. Repair & Troubleshooting:
- Perform repairs and fault rectifications on chillers, AHUs, FCUs, fans, pumps, VRF systems, DX units, and HVAC control panels.
- Carry out tasks such as copper brazing, refrigerant charging, compressor installation, and controls repair.

3. Installation:
- Install DX units including split, package, ducted split, refrigerators, deep freezers, VRF systems, and water coolers.
- Execute copper brazing, refrigerant charging, and testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.

4. Piping & Ductwork:
- Install and maintain chilled water pipes, ducts, valves, and insulation as per project requirements.

5. Emergency Repairs:
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.

6. Minor Electrical & Plumbing Maintenance:
- Perform minor electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks, including the repair or replacement of fixtures such as wall switches, outlets, ballasts, tubes, fuses, sockets, and plumbing fixtures.

7. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Update work completion status on a daily basis and coordinate with engineers and supervisors for repair, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance.

8. Safety Compliance:
- Liaise with the safety officer to ensure worker safety practices are followed, and report any safety concerns.

9. Customer Service:
- Understand customer needs and provide swift and effective solutions to meet their requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in the Middle East.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC installation, maintenance, and repairs.

- Qualifications:
- ITI or Diploma in HVAC or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

- Skills:
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

- Other Requirements:
- Must be residing in Qatar with a valid QID.
- Ready to join immediately.
