Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Purchase Executive (Pre-Owned Vehicles) to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process of pre-owned vehicles, ensuring the best value for the company, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Acquisition:
- Identify and source pre-owned vehicles from various channels, including auctions, dealerships, private sellers, and trade-ins.
- Evaluate vehicles based on market trends, demand, condition, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.

2. Negotiation & Procurement:
- Negotiate purchase terms, pricing, and conditions with sellers to secure the best deals for the company.
- Ensure all procurement processes are conducted ethically and in accordance with company policies.

3. Market Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on current trends in the pre-owned vehicle market.
- Analyze data to determine the demand for different vehicle models, and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.

4. Inventory Management:
- Manage the inventory of pre-owned vehicles, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of purchased vehicles into the sales process.

5. Quality Control:
- Inspect and evaluate the condition of vehicles before purchase to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
- Work closely with the technical team to assess any required repairs or refurbishments.

6. Documentation & Compliance:
- Handle all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the purchase of vehicles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions for audit and reporting purposes.

7. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and other key stakeholders in the pre-owned vehicle market.
- Represent the company professionally in all dealings with external parties.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry, with a focus on pre-owned vehicles.

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Management, or a related field.

- Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel for data analysis and number crunching.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Requirements:
- Must have a valid Qatar ID (QID) and NOC (No Objection Certificate).
