Job Description: Executive Chef


Responsibilities:
As the Executive Chef, you will be entrusted with leading the overall kitchen operations of the hotel. Your responsibilities include:

- Training and managing kitchen team members to achieve culinary excellence.
- Supervising and coordinating all culinary activities, including estimating food consumption and overseeing food purchases.
- Selecting and developing recipes to meet quality standards.
- Standardizing the production of dishes for consistent quality.
- Establishing presentation, technique, and quality standards.
- Planning and pricing menus to drive revenue.
- Ensuring proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Upholding safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Cooking certain dishes for special occasions and overseeing catering events.
- Direct responsibility for hiring, people development, and performance reviews of the kitchen team.
- Reporting to the General Manager on kitchen operations and performance.
- Driving revenue and ensuring profitable kitchen operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or related Culinary degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry and culinary management experience.
- Previous experience in controlling food and labor costs.
- Expertise in demonstration cooking, menu development, and pricing development.
- Passion for leadership and teamwork.
- Strong attention to detail to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent guest service skills.
