Job Description

Job Title: Commissioning Manager (Mechanical)

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Project Experience:
- Oversee commissioning activities in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
- Manage and coordinate mechanical commissioning tasks for projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Ensure that commissioning processes are carried out in accordance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

- Technical Leadership:
- Lead the commissioning team and provide technical guidance to ensure efficient and effective commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Review and approve mechanical commissioning documentation and reports.

- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to align on commissioning requirements and schedules.

- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and ensure the quality and performance of mechanical systems during the commissioning phase.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to mechanical systems.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all commissioning activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety audits and enforce safety protocols during the commissioning process.

- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present commissioning reports and documentation to management and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities, test results, and any issues encountered.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Proven experience working in EPC projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong background in mechanical commissioning with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage commissioning activities.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
