Job Title: Painting Manager (Mechanical)

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Project Oversight:
- Manage and supervise painting operations for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Ensure that all painting activities adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance on painting techniques, materials, and equipment used in mechanical and structural components.
- Oversee the preparation of surfaces, application of coatings, and inspection of finished work to ensure quality and compliance.

- Team Management:
- Lead and coordinate a team of painters and support staff, ensuring effective performance and adherence to project schedules.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices, safety protocols, and quality standards.

- Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure high standards of painting work.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the durability, adhesion, and finish of coatings.

- Resource Management:
- Manage painting materials, equipment, and resources, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained properly.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and tools.

- Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding painting-related issues.
- Address client concerns and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction and project success.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of painting activities, including progress reports, material usage, and any issues encountered.
- Prepare and present reports to management on project status, quality metrics, and performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Extensive experience in painting management within EPC projects, specifically in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record of successful painting operations and team management.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of painting processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
