Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Project Management:
- Oversee engineering activities for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead the engineering team in delivering high-quality engineering solutions and services.

- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and technical staff throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

- Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding engineering matters.
- Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.

- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all engineering processes and deliverables adhere to quality standards and best practices.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to address any issues or discrepancies.

- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure that all engineering activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
- Monitor project progress and address any engineering-related challenges or delays.

- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present engineering reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to management and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of engineering activities, changes, and decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Extensive experience working in EPC projects, particularly within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record in managing engineering teams and delivering successful engineering projects.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
