Job Description

Job Title: SaaS Account Executive

Job Overview

The SaaS Account Executive will drive sales of the company's software as a service (SaaS) products, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with existing ones. The role requires a proactive approach to generating leads, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in sales, particularly in SaaS or technology environments, and will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Sales Development
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth for SaaS products.
- Identify and generate new leads through prospecting and networking.

- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
- Provide ongoing support to customers, ensuring satisfaction and promoting retention.

- Product Demonstrations & Presentations
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of SaaS solutions.
- Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and pain points.

- Sales Execution
- Negotiate and close sales deals in accordance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
- Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and report on sales activities using CRM software and sales tools.

- Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align on sales initiatives and strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute campaigns that drive sales.

- Market Insights
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
- Use insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.

- Upselling & Cross-selling
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts.

- Performance Tracking
- Meet or exceed sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators as set by management.

Requirements

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

- Experience:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS or technology environment.

- Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new technologies.
