Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop a detailed project plan that includes timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
- Prepare engineering budgets, project schedules, and project control budgets.
- Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.

- Technical Support and Coordination:
- Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
- Coordinate with various teams, including design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance, to ensure project goals are met.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project.

- Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
- Informs themselves of relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures and ensures continued compliance.

- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Coordinate and communicate with project groups on major projects in the region.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical assistance.

- Coordination and Supervision:
- Responsible for project functions monitoring, including Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, Construction Management, etc.
- Ensure all functions are coordinated and properly staffed to meet project goals.
- Coordinate with regional and site management on status, significant trends, and changes of approved projects.
- Provide technical advice and support to other departments.

- Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.

- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects.
- Extensive experience in the project management of water and wastewater works.
- Experience with major government and/or semi-government programs and project implementations.
- Proven record of implementing a zero-accident philosophy.
- Engagement with government entities/utility providers.

- Skills:
- Knowledge of professional project management processes and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working internationally.
