We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Media and Communications Officer to join our team at [Company Name]. The incumbent will be responsible for all media-related activities within the project, including photography, filming, journalism, and managing social media. If you have 3-5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Media or a relevant field, and excellent English and Arabic language skills, we encourage you to apply.

Core Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:
1. Write media content for social media audiences across major platforms, covering all project activities based on JRF policy.
2. Capture success stories through photography, filming, and journalism for publication on social media.
3. Demonstrate impact through storytelling to reach the intended audience and ensure coverage of JRF’s projects.
4. Share quotes, photos, and videos on social media to highlight the organization’s programs and projects.
5. Provide media training sessions for youth when needed to enhance their social media management skills.
6. Generate stories and videos capturing project impact and youth voices showcasing impactful ventures.
7. Prepare the monthly media donor report to update donors on social media activities.
8. Act as a focal point for the project with the Media & Communication department, providing media coverage updates.

Content Development:
1. Draft news articles, social media posts, and other related content to share with the targeted audience.
2. Develop high-quality written material for journalists, donors, and internal documents.

Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media or a relevant field.
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience working in humanitarian relief response projects.
- Experience in media content development and journalism.
- Experience in media creative writing.
- Experience working as a media officer, actively promoting stories to the media, and dealing with media inquiries.
- High standard of written English and the ability to prepare accurate material for various audiences.
