Job Title: Housekeeping Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Housekeeping Coordinator role at Aloft Abu Dhabi is pivotal in ensuring guests enjoy a memorable and unique experience through impeccable housekeeping standards. This position goes beyond traditional housekeeping duties to uphold the overall appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Guest Environment Experts are empowered to move within their designated areas to execute tasks efficiently, from fulfilling guest requests to maintaining cleanliness in rooms and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Stock carts and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated areas as needed.
- Uphold safety standards and follow hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
- Commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field is advantageous.
- Eligibility to work in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
