Job Description
Job Title: Telephone Operator
Position Summary:
As a Telephone Operator, your role extends beyond managing check-ins and check-outs. You will create memorable and unique experiences for our guests, guiding them through their stay and addressing their needs proactively. This position requires you to be dynamic, moving about your space to handle various operational needs, respond to guest requests, and share local highlights. You will ensure a high standard of service by maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Your work will involve being on your feet for extended periods and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional service by handling guest requests, processing operational needs, and offering information about local attractions and amenities.
- Operational Duties: Complete reports, manage telephone communications, and assist with check-ins and check-outs as required.
- Safety and Standards: Create a safe working environment by following company policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
- Professionalism: Uphold high standards of personal appearance, uniform, and communication.
- Physical Requirements: Perform tasks that involve standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No prior related work experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- License or Certification: None required.
