Job Description

Job Title: Concierge

Position Summary

The Concierge is responsible for enhancing the guest experience by responding to special requests, providing information about the property and surrounding area, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. This role involves handling a variety of guest needs, including transportation, reservations, and unique requests, while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Guest Requests: Respond to and fulfill guest requests for special arrangements or services, such as transportation, reservations, or dry cleaning. Identify and coordinate with appropriate providers to meet guest needs.
- Special Requests: Address special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure their satisfaction.
- Information Provision: Gather, summarize, and provide information about the property and local amenities, including special events and activities.
- Communication Management: Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Contact relevant departments (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve issues.
- Documentation: Review shift logs and daily memo books, documenting pertinent information in logbooks.
- Club Lounge Monitoring: Oversee the club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Safety and Compliance: Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager. Complete safety training and certifications as required.
- Professionalism: Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Guest Interaction: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to guests.
- Communication Skills: Use clear and professional language when speaking with others. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
- Team Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Support the team to achieve common goals and address concerns appropriately.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Additional Duties: Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No prior related work experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
