Job Description

Job Title: Lobby Hostess

Position Summary:
As a Lobby Hostess, your role goes beyond the traditional check-in and check-out duties. You will be instrumental in creating a memorable and unique guest experience. Your proactive approach will guide guests through their entire stay, ensuring every interaction is pleasant and personalized. You will have the autonomy to move around the space and address various needs, whether processing operational tasks, addressing guest requests, or providing information about the local area. Success in this role involves creating a safe workplace, following company policies, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, upholding quality standards, and ensuring professional appearance and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Interaction:
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, making them feel comfortable and valued.
- Provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly.
- Address guest requests and inquiries with a focus on exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Share information about local attractions, dining options, and other points of interest to enhance the guest experience.

- Operational Duties:
- Process operational needs efficiently, including handling guest reservations, managing room assignments, and coordinating with other departments as required.
- Complete reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

- Guest Experience:
- Take initiative to exceed guest expectations and provide personalized service that enhances their stay.
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Maintain a keen awareness of guest feedback and use it to improve the overall guest experience.

- Safety and Compliance:
- Create and maintain a safe work environment by following company policies and procedures.
- Uphold confidentiality and protect company assets by adhering to security protocols.
- Ensure personal appearance and communication are professional and in line with company standards.

- Physical Requirements:
- Be on your feet and move around for extended periods, including standing, sitting, or walking.
- Perform hands-on tasks, such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No specific work experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience needed.
- License or Certification: None required.

- Ability to provide exceptional guest service and handle inquiries professionally.
