Job Description
Job Title: F&B Service Expert (Hostess)
Position Summary:
As a Guest Service Expert, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will go beyond simply serving food; you will be tasked with building a unique and enjoyable atmosphere that enhances our guests' overall experience. This includes setting tables, communicating effectively with the kitchen, interacting with guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and they feel valued.
- Table Setup & Maintenance: Prepare and maintain dining areas, ensuring tables are set appropriately and work areas are clean and organized.
- Communication: Liaise with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service and resolve any guest issues promptly.
- Menu Management: Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information, ensuring accurate delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Physical Activity: Stand, walk, and move around the dining area for extended periods, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces as necessary.
- Safety Standards: Adhere to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards and ensuring a safe workplace for yourself and your coworkers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience in a food and beverage environment.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
