Job Description
Job Title: HR Clerk
About the Role:
As an HR Clerk at Delta Hotels City Center Doha, you will play a vital role in supporting our Human Resources department by maintaining efficient office operations and ensuring a welcoming environment for employees and candidates. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry while contributing to the HR functions of a leading hotel brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filing & Correspondence: Create and maintain filing systems; type and create office correspondence using a computer.
- Office Administration: Distribute and route mail, order and track HR office supplies, and answer phone calls while recording messages.
- Employee Support: Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and maintain a clean and accessible application space for individuals with disabilities.
- Employee Records: Create new employee personnel files and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Communication: Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company policies and HR programs.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
- Professional Conduct: Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect company assets.
- Guest Interaction: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, using clear and professional language.
- Team Support: Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and listen and respond to the concerns of other employees.
- Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
- Physical Tasks: Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Additional Duties: Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
