Job Description

Job Title: Receptionist (Recreation Activities)

Position Summary:
The Receptionist will serve as a key resource for all recreational activities on the property, providing information to guests and ensuring a safe, enjoyable experience. The role involves promoting recreation facilities, scheduling activities, maintaining safety standards, assisting with guest inquiries, and providing cashier services where necessary.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction: Provide guests with information about available recreation facilities such as pools, fitness centers, game rooms, and child activity centers.
- Activity Promotion: Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities, creating a fun and welcoming environment.
- Safety & Welfare: Enforce rules and regulations of recreation facilities to ensure guest safety. Respond to emergencies in accordance with procedures.
- Cashier Services: Handle payments for rentals, activities, facility usage, or retail sales where applicable.
- Private Functions Assistance: Assist with group activities and events in recreation facilities, including hosting private functions.
- Guest Assistance: Offer help to guests with injuries and provide first aid until emergency services arrive.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain and clean recreational areas, equipment, and supplies. Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
- Compliance: Follow company policies regarding personal appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection. Comply with safety training and certifications.
- Communication: Use professional language to greet guests, answer phones, and interact with team members. Assist individuals with disabilities and ensure a welcoming experience for all.
- Team Collaboration: Support team members to achieve common goals. Develop positive working relationships within the team.
- Payment Processing: Process payments for recreational activities, rentals, or purchases.
- Physical Duties: Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move and lift objects of varying weights as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No related experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Recreation Equipment: Certifications or training as required by local and state agencies.
