Job Description
Job Title: Training Officer
Position Summary:
The Training Officer is responsible for communicating and instilling company values and culture in new employees, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing development and feedback. The role involves ensuring employees are knowledgeable in their job roles, responsibilities, and technical service aspects while promoting a safe and professional work environment. The Training Officer will also assist in updating training materials, conducting quality assurance checks, and delivering refresher courses as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- New Employee Training: Communicate company values, culture, and job roles to new employees, ensuring they understand technical and service expectations.
- Ongoing Development: Provide feedback and coaching to employees, encouraging and motivating them to perform at their best.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct training recertifications, refreshers, and quality assurance checks for trained employees to ensure continued adherence to company standards.
- Training Material Updates: Update training materials to reflect new processes and directives from the company.
- Core Values & Responsibilities: Ensure all employees understand and are trained on company core values, responsibilities, and safety policies.
- Employee Coaching: Provide ongoing support and development for employees, creating a motivating and inclusive environment.
- Safety & Security: Adhere to safety and security protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for employees and guests.
- Collaboration: Assist employees to ensure proper coverage and support, while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Guest Interaction: Anticipate and address guest service needs professionally and promptly.
- Communication: Use clear and professional language in all verbal and written communication, adhering to appropriate etiquette and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
