Job Title: Hotel Cleanliness Expert (Laundry Attendant)
Position Summary:
As a Hotel Cleanliness Expert (Laundry Attendant), you will operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Your role is essential in maintaining the hotel's appearance and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, ensuring proper operation and efficiency.
- Add appropriate cleaning chemicals and maintain cleanliness of lint traps.
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine appropriate actions for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
- Inspect cleanliness of items removed from washers, dryers, or dry-cleaning machines and place them in clean linen carts.
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric type.
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry-cleaning filters, and drain traps after each load.
- Fold cleaned articles to designated sizes, either by hand or using a folding machine.
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered to ensure accountability.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
